Welcome to St. Mary's Primary School Website.

I am delighted to introduce you to our new informative website and to invite you to discover more about life in St. Mary's Primary School.

St Mary's is situated in the townland of Derrytrasna, on the southern shore of Lough Neagh.

In our school we are committed to providing an excellent all round education for every child entrusted to our care. We aim to provide a caring school environment where each individual child is encouraged to respect themselves, others in the school community and the wider community.

⭐️ Primary 6/7 had an amazing trip to the fantastic Titanic Museum in Belfast. The children are loving learning about the Titanic story. The children asked lots of great questions and learned some very interesting facts from the Titanic museum staff! Well done boys are girls ⛴️ 🧊

Happy St. Brigid’s Day 😊 some of the Primary 2 children enjoyed learning about St. Brigid and making their own crosses using pipe cleaners!

Primary 2 have been exploring data handling through the Just2easy app 🥳📈 Lots of mathematical language and ICT skills being used!🤩
